Ingredients
3 large (250 g) fresh shiitake mushrooms, sliced
For marinade
150 ml rice vinegar
100ml (7 tbsp.) water
2 whole star anise
2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. pink pepper
1 tsp. cilantro seeds
1 tsp. salt

Preparation

Put all the ingredients of the marinade in a saucepan and heat over low heat for 5 to 7 minutes.

Place sliced ​​shiitake mushrooms in a bowl and add the hot marinade over mushrooms. Marinate at least 20 before transfer to a sealed glass container.

Serve with salads, pizza, and sandwiches…
