Spaghetti with brocoli sauce

300g fresh or dry spaghetti |

1 bouquet of fresh broccoli |
2 smashed garlic cloves |
Extra virgin olive oil |
Salt and pepper to taste |

Preparation
Fill a big pot with water, bring to boil. When water boiling, add salt.
Clean the broccoli and cut in small bouquets. Put the broccoli in the salted boiling water and cook for about 10 to 15 minutes or until the broccoli is really soft.
In a large pan, heat some olive oil oven medium heat add the garlic, cook until golden brown.
When the broccoli is cooked, drain and transfer in the pan with olive oil and garlic. Keep the water boiling to cook your pasta. Crush the broccoli with a fork or a pilar. Add some broccoli cooking water to keep the sauce a bit more liquid. Cook over medium low for about 4 minutes.
When water is boiling, add the pasta and cook for 4 minutes or depending on the pasta you are using until "Al dente". When pasta is ready, drain and add it to the broccoli puree directly to the pan. Mix well to blend everything together.
Add some Parmesan (optional), salt and pepper to taste and serve.
