Guacamole
Guacamole is a versatile condiment; you can spread it on your burgers, on tacos, serve it with grilled fish or chicken or simply with tortillas or pita bites as entrée.

4 ripe avocados |

1 lime |
1 small onion |
1 small tomato |
3 tbsp. fresh cilantro |
¼ tsp. garlic powder |
2 tbsp. tequila (optional) – secret ingredient |

Preparation
Cut the avocados in 2 and make parallel slices into the flesh, being careful not to cut through the skin. Turn the avocado 1/4 rotation and cut another set of parallel slices to make a checkerboard pattern.
Scoop the avocado slices out of the avocado skin using a large spoon and place in a bowl.
Cut the lime in 2 and squeeze to add juice to the avocados. Add the garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste and mash.
Mince the onion, cilantro and tomato and add onion to mixture.
Add the tequila (optional), mix well and serve with tortillas or as condiment.

Idea
Flavour it with sundried tomatoes, hot peppers.
Suggestion
For a fresher taste replace cilantro with mint and tomatoes with strawberries.
