Slow roasted cherry tomato bruschetta with Parmesan slivers and fresh basil
What is bruschetta? It is usually grilled bread rubbed with roasted or fresh garlic, sprinkled with olive oil and garnished with small pieces of tomatoes, seasoned with basil. It is the toast bread itself but, more particularly, the topping preparation of tomatoes or ingredients that is called bruschetta. Added to this salt & pepper, hot pepperoncino, and cheese. 1/2 Cup of roasted cherry tomatoes (recipe on our site) |
12 Parmesan slivers |
1 garlic clove |
10 to 12 leaves of fresh basil |
Extra virgin olive oil |
Balsamumm original for drizzle |
Preparation
Preheat oven at 500˚F.
Place bread slices on a oven baking tray, roast bread on each side. You can also grilled your bread on the BBQ or use a toaster.
Slice Parmesan slivers with a sharp knife, about 3 to 4 by bruschetta.
When bread is roasted on each sides, rub it with fresh garlic and add a splash of olive oil, with roasted tomatoes (view recipe), fresh basil leaves and Parmesan slivers.
Serve with a splash of Balsamumm.
